Apamea alia is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in North America, including New York, Massachusetts, Colorado, Alberta, British Columbia and Washington.

This wingspan is about 39 mm. The moth flies from June to August depending on the location.

The larva feed on a various grasses.
